American Standard Toilet Seats8 Easy Tips to find the right toilet

Maybe you build a house, or you're remodeling. With everything you think of the toilet is probably not seem too important. However, do not forget the toilet, a symbol of the civilized home. After a few simple steps can help you find a dress that is good for you, both functionally and aesthetically. Remember, all toilets are not built the same!

Look for this in the toilet:

1). The shape of the toilet bowl: You can choose a round or elongated. The round front tends to be shorter than two inches, and works well for small spaces. The larger front lying is more comfortable and sanitary, since there is less drip on the toilet.

2). The size of toilet: There are many choices, with different lengths, widths and heights for a snug fit, make sure you measure the space available. Do not forget the harsh space - the distance from the center of the bowl to the finished wall - as this will also determine the maximum size of the toilet.

3). The size of the toilet trap: How trap is part of the toilet that through which water and waste output. The smallest size available passes through the waste with a diameter of 1.5 inches. Larger trap make it less likely that the toilets are blocked.

4). How the toilet: In the U.S., by law all toilets must have a tank of 1.6 gallons to conserve water. However, you still have choices. In gravity fed toilets, the weight of the water tank pushes the waste through a trap using S-shaped, as the siphon that is created empty bowl. For a little extra rinse aid, pressure-assisted toilets use compressed air in the toilet tank. When flushing, the pressurized air pushes the water more strongly into the bowl, resulting in better color. However, in addition to greater expense, these toilets tend to be noisier and more difficult to repair.

5). One or two piece toilets: For the budget-minded, toilets consist of two separate pieces of the bowl and tank are appropriate. There are up to six parts in a toilet in one piece that seamlessy it up. They have a little more style to them (with a price more expensive), and need less space and are easier to clean.

6). Ease of maintenance: Many high-end toilets are built specifically to facilitate maintenance. For example, Toto, an innovative manufacturer of Japan, SanaGloss, a ceramic glaze which prevents bacteria and mold buildup, making the toilet easy to clean. American Standard has its characteristic EasyClean. Kohler designers have developed an insulating lining that prevents moisture condensation on the outside of the toilet tank.

7). Appearance: Although a toilet must work well, we must also look good in your bathroom. It's a good thing that modern toilets are available in a wide range of styles, sizes and colors. It can happen to a price - for example, toilets non-whites tend to be more expensive. One approach that you might consider choosing a dress that is part of a private bath, thus ensuring that the accessories are in harmony.

8). What else?: If you're willing to spend money, you can get a fancy dress with a built in bidet, heated seat system or air drying. Kohler Comfort Height toilets have a higher seat, making sitting down and become easier.
