Whoah! Watch out for a big pile of green on the scammers to be released on Canada and the world of the land of the infamous BC 'Billy http://www.bccondos.ca/forums/viewtopic. ...
Particular attention to any discussion of green roofs http://bccondos.ca/forums/viewtopic.php? ... and even more dangerous with the construction standards of our philosophy not to ask, do not want, Rooftop Garden

Another company to consider:
I bought the land of the first friendly cleaning company in the world to obtain Climate Neutral certification and totally offset its C02 emissions, resulting in a net zero impact on the environment. And I do not drive to the store to buy them. They are sent to my house by UPS - which has put in processes to reduce the amount of resources they use to make deliveries.
The company is environmentally friendly and products are environmentally friendly. It's a win-win!
Have you tried the "eco-logo" site? Launched by the Canadian federal government in 1988, EcoLogo is the oldest North American environmental standard and certification organization (and the second oldest in the world).
You can visit the following link for more specific information on furniture:

All kinds of information here. Hope that helps ...
Flooring:
Bamboo is supposed to be a source of renewable energy ... ok um, they cut a swath of it, and it is growing rapidly. But they neither destroy the only habitat of the Panda ... hmmm, I think it is not good.
Cork flooring .... remove the outer layers of the cork oak tree of life and produces more layers of cork .... sounds like the best solution
