Bathroom Cabinets UkHow to cover mirror cabinet with damaged edges?

I have a mirror 3 blocks bathroom cabinet, very similar to it, in its basic design.

The edges of the mirror has peeled the paint (back), and it's really bad. The rest of the mirror is in good condition. I can not replace or remove the mirrors and set the paint lost. Is there another way to cover the edges?
I thought to put duct tape on the edges. . . Is it too sticky?

Help me here.
Thank you.

Since the mirrors appear to move with a medicine cabinet down, it would be difficult to implement the idea wooden frame and still use it. There are, however, some fabrics and papers there nice contact with adhesive tape that you could cut cornered in a frame and glue mitrered very own mirror. It would be nice and you can select a pattern or texture to match your decor and bath you can still use the medicine cabinet if you make slits where joints are.

According to your budget, you can buy narrow strips of mirror with an adhesive backing. They can be cut according to your existing mirrors. Try Home Depot or Lowes.

Why not go to the hardware store and buy the pads in a style you like. Cut it to suit your wardrobe, make sure to cut the pieces where the swinging doors, or stain and varnish or paint, then paste on the edges of the mirror.

measure and report to a local art and craft store and get a hollow wooden frame. You must use a special glue to conform to mirrr - perhaps silicone would. I know someone who did this, came out great.

Maybe you could get thin door trim and make a picture frame in the mirror.
