Bathroom Paint

Bathroom PaintPAINTING bathroom?

I have a very small bathroom with no windows just a small vent so moisture is a problem and I need to paint my bathroom has a glossy paint. Am I the first first?
what color will be brighter and appear bigger?
im numbered by the men in my apartment he cannot Search girly or manly What color should I go?

First, you need to work on this kind of painting on the wall now. Is enamel paint or acrylic? An easy way to do this is to get a little turpentine and rub it on the wall. If the paint comes off easily then you have acrylic paint, if it does not detach easily, so it is enamel paint.

So make sure you use the same kind of paint that is now on the wall.

If you go to the paint store, tell them you are painting your bathroom and they can recommend a mold and moisture resistant paint that is designed specifically for use in wetlands.

Finally, I would say a cream color, as "pancake". It is not sexist, makes the room look clean and hygienic, but with a little heat to it as it is not only white and light colors make small rooms seem larger and brighter (especially if you do not have a window).

If the paint is there is now in good condition (no peeling or bubbles or cracking), then technically you do not have at first, just give it a light sanding. But like any good artist will tell you, if you want to make a lasting work, always first / seal / undercoat first.

when you try to determine what type of paint you have in your bathroom you do not use turpentine you use methyl alcohol. It is a type of alcohol. wet cloth or paper towel and rub on the walls and ceiling in a swirling motion. If the paint is all it is a water-based paint. After determining the type of paint you have on them so you can choose what you going to use. If there are no repairs to make so that you do not use a primer. primers are required only if you have a product that you will no longer used paint. If you have an oil-based paint there now, my advice would be to apply one coat of oil, then go to a finish coat according to the water. I do not know where you live, but in Canada by 2010 solvent-based paints will be banned if you are in the usa im sure that will happen soon and it would be better to change now. go to your local paint store as a Benjamin Moore, Pratt & Lambert or if you really want the best Farrow & Ball. they will give you an opinion, much better service and a Home Depot or one of these other stores and the price will be comparable to a product much better.

You may want to paint a marine-grade, since you're dealing with a lot of moisture in a small space.

And yes, the first prime. For color, the compromise because you have a bunch of guys with you. Make it good, but not frilly. And use a light color to make the room seem larger.

Good luck!

In my opinion, nothing too dark closes a room in. ..
Choose light curtains for the shower and the wall as sage, cream, yellow, maybe blue light ... remember to think of accessories in the room too

paint strip two light yellow tones and dark yellow spare bandwidth and use a matte finish and satin, it works well with a paint color

Most people will probably tell you to go with a light color to make the room bigger. But if it's really small at first, how great is a lighter color will make it look anyway? If you pay too much lighter, go with a nice tan rich Sherwin-Williams Bagel.

Otherwise, go to blue. Blue is the color Pantone hot for 2008. You could probably end.
