Bathroom Renovations

Bathroom Renovationsbathroom renovation?

I have a half tile and sheet rock walls half. I thought carefully removing their carpets and tiles on the walls. Is this feasible, if the wallpaper is smooth?

Is something feasible. Practical to do so is another. Depending on your skill level, there can be a nightmare. It will put an end to mortar and grout that you will remove. In the process, possibly damaging the drywall. And if it is repairable, if you're not completely mudding, it could make a smaller surface line.

Just my "We just renovated our whole house" view. I would take advice from a person he is and who is your level handyman before someone else does!

Good luck!

If the tile is on drywall: the chance to remove the tile without making huge holes in the drywall is slim to none. Then, fixing these holes insn't as easy as it sounds mud drywall-sanding SUCKS and if perfection is not perfect, it will show through your newspaper.
If the tile is in the "backer board" or mud to the old series and likely are not. There will be a joint between the drywall and backer board that you can not perfect . If it is a set of mud will be a bumpy, lumpy mess below. Patching a new piece of plaster is much easier in my opinion! You then seal the sand and make instead of perfect one billion hole. It really is relatively inexpensive and Lowes or Home Depot will give a big enough "how." Lowes on how much their website.
Good luck!

Yes process feasible, but long. Might be better to just cut the drywall and applying new drywall, seriously. Tile is applied with an adhesive mortar base. When you look at smart tile grout. See if you can chip easily. If not, you have to do a lot of chips and sanding.

It is certainly, even if you tore the drywall off, it is not difficult to put on the patch would not be a problem if you left it in place. A sanding to do but get smooth enough for the paper.

Yes, you can do, be sure to sand the walls before you on the screen thereof.
