Bathroom Tubs And Showers

Bathroom Tubs And ShowersPaint tubs, sinks and showers ...?

Has anyone here re-painted over an old bathtub, shower or sink? How did it turn? Any Recommendations? I just bought a house and my bath master bath, shower and sinks are all nasty mustard color.

There are kits of epoxy into two parts that are sized to a bath or shower. They look easy to implement, but will take about a week to dry. If you have access to another bath or shower during this time, this is not a bad idea. I think they are about $ 20 cheaper, but get when they are sold. Do not use regular paint because it will peel and stale. Clean the tub or shower according to the instructions of paint to ensure the paint sticks.

It would be better if you replace just for peace of mind. A renovation can only increase the value of your home and it would be more hygienist.

at The Home Depot in the bath department, there is a painting for the bathroom, I can not Rember what is his name. The paint is white, and it costs $ 29.00. Good Luck

They sell a kit in the home stores is a kind of painting space you have to mix both parties if you follow the instructions exactly it is real nice for wells and toilet facilities

I've seen houses that my company has worked on have painted bathtubs and sinks .. but the paint is new and never used .. I do not really know how it turned out oral .. but at the time it seemed really good .. But working with granite countertops, too much money for you to change your sink .. especially if it's a drop in one. but it's always cool to try new things you know ... Good luck!

DO NOT paint over the porcelain coating that covers most of the old cast iron bathtubs or sinks. The paint does not properly making it a worse mess than you have now.

The color of mustard is likely to water with high iron content. Try a product called "Iron Out! something that I put in my water conditioner to get stains. Then try what others suggest here as a Home Depot in the paint product specially formulated for porcelain.

Yes, it's a bit hard to start, but recommend you go to the lowest or Home Depot, they have a particular type of paint there, you can buy just tell them you want to paint your bathtub or sink. They give you a sponge brush and paint can is so easy as painting and dry do not worry it will separate uneven coloring also complained it dries.
