Why all worktops bathroom glossy? I'm looking for a Nice black (granite or slate blue effect) work plan for a new bath, I am planning. But everyone that I found a shiny finish. Of course, Matt would be more effective at hiding spills and watermarks. Why are they always bright?
* A granite laminate for your bathroom vanity is available in all colors / textures better, and with a matte finish to hide scratches and spills.

You can buy soft (matte) granite has a matte finish, but you must close, otherwise the spray, toothpaste, makeup, shaving cream, etc. must be removed immediately, because it shows stains from granite polished.

Slate countertops are honed for a smooth matte finish, because it is nonporous, after installing just a light coat of mineral oil and then it can be cleaned with household cleaner.
If you are in the United Kingdom, have a look at Homebase worktops, there is matte and glossy versions of almost all the designs (see link) and there is a book of samples in all their stores you can see the real thing. They also provide delivery services and cutting (with a small bonus).
Make sure you get the bands corresponding to the end and seal the raw edges properly before adding the tape end or the amount of water in the bathroom swell and burst your nice new work plan during the weeks! Be sure to seal the trailing edge and thus be particularly careful to seal sink any cuts you made before installing the porcelain.
The bands end, once glued in place, must be filed on the form as you would file the nail big and boring, with a large flat file joiner, going in one direction along the strip.
When you put the work plan in place, use masking tape as a guide for your silicone sealant. Just run a piece of adhesive tape about 1 cm above the worktop on your tiles or the back wall, press down firmly so that no air bubbles and to apply the sealant, wipe it with a wet finger or shaping tool and remove the masking tape to leave a nice straight line.
Hello
You can get a matte finish ... good advice - a member of the family used kitchen work top in the bathroom because it was dull as it was after you and it was difficult to find. It was exactly the same as the control room, but half the price and does exactly the same work ...

The bathroom surfaces are generally brighter because because shiny surfaces tend to resist moisture and stains do not absorb nearly as much as matt surfaces do. (Matte surfaces tend to be porous.)
Glossy surfaces are also much easier to clean.
They are not all glossy finish - just look around. I saw the lighter color in a matte finish to Wickes. Continue to search or Google. Our own is dull, but in the cream.
