Children's Potties

Children's PottiesHow young did you start the potty training your child?

I'm looking in the start potty training my little boy, he will be 2 in October. He is very interested in what we "do" in the bathroom, and likes to delete its own wet diapers and finds his own place quiet shit. I'm in no hurry, but I would like to hear what you've started the ages of your children, and the secret methods you had to make them go away. We can catch him when he is about to shit when you look because he slips into a corner, so we try to put it on her potty to do, but apart from that one game riddles. I was told to "other" people (although I think they are full) they had trained their children to 1 and 18 months. Thank you.

Firstly how boring would it be if your kids have really formed a small jar or 18 one month! I prefer to leave to pee in a diaper so I can finish my shopping lol! Some of them are full for sure. I think older moms get the foggiest memories are.

My oldest daughter was about 18 months when I have a pot head and started "training" but she was still in diapers until about 2 1 / 2. I have always struggled to keep her dry at night until recently. My youngest daughter has shown absolutely no interest in even sitting on the pot until it just turned three and then "bam!" She was potty trained and dry through the night! I swear I thought she was still in diapers and I thought I was doing something terribly wrong! So finally my daughters are now 6 and 4 and our house was clean and dry for a while, it should be interesting when the newborn is delivered in a month and we can start!

I recommend letting your son underwear real whenever convienent home. These layers are simply too absorbent and he will see what is going on if it icky.

each child is different, you know best! It seems that very young! I would never pressure a child in potty training until they are completely prepared mentally and physically. My eldest two trained, but now I have a 3 year old child who has an idea hasn't so far!

Good luck

I waited until my kids wanted to go to the toilet. It was not stressful and they do not wet as they were ready. I do not need to ask "do you need the toilet" every 5 minutes. They could keep from the start and everything went well. My son was 2.5 twin sister was two months from 3

all my children have been trained by pot a year .... BUT it takes determination and effort to do .. you must be consistent and so each child and may be delayed, it depends on you as a mother how fast you want to!

I had the idea in his head about 2 years 18mth but he was not ready until 2.5 years. It took about three weeks to do dry day and night was very lucky, but I think it's because I left it until it is really really ready. However, he has not pooped in the pot / toilet until about 3 years thinking it just freaked him right out so I let him do his own pace and finally he just did it out of the blue and we have not looked back since.

My daughter follow us in the bathroom, when she started walking around 10 months. I bought him a seat that goes on the toilet for his little bottom does not fall within 12 months. I do not actively try to train her until she was about 17 months. Before I have just sat on the seat when I went pot. She loved the flush, then I wipe her as if she had disappeared and let rinse. It was not until she begins to care that it wanted to go to the toilet. His class was a mixture of 18-36 months, though some have been trained and others not. She loved to play with older children who have been trained and basically trained herself. She was fully formed.
