Chrome Bathroom Radiators

Chrome Bathroom RadiatorsHow to stop a radiator bathroom chrome rust?

You need to seal the moisture, but you must clean the surface first.

First, clean the lamp together with a commercial cleaner designed for good chromium (Simichrome is excellent). Once clean and free of rust, treat with the paint formulation designed to remove waxes (Wil-Bond from Benjamin Moore dealer is great stuff). Now you have the choice. You can either:

A - Apply car wax to the unit, and plan to re-treat every 6-12 months, or
B - Apply one coat of clear spray.

Be careful with the paint - you do not want to ruin everything flows arrival. If you run into trouble, use the Wil-Bond ro remove the default and start over. This is not really hard.

BTW, Vaseline on the chrome?? Not on my bike!

paint it with rustoleum paint or corrosion of the hardware.

Repair leak?

Rub a thin layer of Vaseline on it,,, do it regularly,,, is an old trick used by bikers to keep their bike rust (chrome parts)

Get rid of it

Use car wax on it. It will help remove some of the exisitng rust and protect from moisture, promoting rust.
