How many characters, you can embroider is only limited by the size of the text. The towel isn't the problem here is your service provider. Check with a local design, or logo type of store ... someone who sells products to companies that want their logos and names put on shirts, hats, etc. is generally the same company to sell team uniforms for baseball, etc. ..

You can also put an ad in your local newspaper or a bulletin board ... You can have someone nearby who has a sewing machine that can do embroidery, and they might be willing to do it for you.
