Decorative Bathroom Rugs

So my boyfriend and I have always got our first place together ... we are both very excited. My mother helps me and is also very happy for me. We are both full-time students of colleges today. I asked my mother if it would be cool to throw any warming apartment and she said it would be great and fun course. I am very very happy. we move in a few weeks and I intend to have the party on August 15. my bf and I are registered at Target. We have about the basic stuff: dining table, sofa, TV, bed, dressers, toaster, refrigerator, desk, tables. So i "asked" for decorating tips such as frames and shelves, bedding, rugs and bathroom stuff (we do not have this) and a microwave on my registry. I do not expect gifts, but I hope to get things for our new place.

Is this unusual or rude to celebrate our first place and moving houses of our parents ...

also ideas and what guests have to throw this kind of games would be useful too.

It's nice to have a party to welcome your friends and family to your new residence.

However, in my opinion, it is tacky to register. People who do not expect gifts do not register. A housewarming party is NOT a shower. Traditional housewarming gifts are modest and have a symbolic meaning (eg bread, salt, wine .....).

I suggest you wait until you invite people to your wedding to register for gifts.

It is a festival organized and run by a new owner, a tenant is not lol.

I would just call it part of your new apartment. Maybe you're lucky.

No, it looks like a great idea! Show your guests around your
new apartment, have some snacks and drinks, catch up
see how everyone did. Maybe they will give you some advice
where to shop for cheap things, but much for your new place!
You can order a pizza, rent movies for people to watch,
put on some games for people to play and have an area of
people to catch up and talk! Having also soothing music in the
background would be nice! :) Enjoy!

I do not think it's weird, but on accommodation and what to do at a party like this, I'm not sure.

It is not uncommon, and will not be hard as long as you are aware of your neighbors. Try to do a whole / part subtle, without all the noise and crazy, loud music, if you are being rude to other tenants.

It is not strange. They gave me a rack with my friends when I moved into my apartment, and I praise .... nobody thought it was weird at all.

Another couple in my church just moved into the apartment and we have thrown their rack too.

But perhaps we have just done in Canada ... I do not know.
