Dimplex Electric Towel Rails

Dimplex Electric Towel RailsTowel in the dryer with timer?

I removed the heater from my mailing cupbard and I would replace it with a towel and a timer so that I can still use it as a dryer. The dryer is in the bathroom, but has doors on it.
If I bought a Dimplex TR like this
http://www.grantandstone.co.uk/heating/electric-towel-rails.htm

and added a timer as it http://www.tritonfiresystems.co.uk/products/timeguard-fst11-supplymaster-24-hour-fused-spur-timeswitch/1139/?gclid=CMWN0Nqpnp4CFUQA4wodJmSrlA.

Is this OK or should I put the timer in a locked cabinet in the dryer?

Use a heating tube and put on shelves to increase capacity.
Something like a suntube REDRING would be appropriate
That load is so low, any old timer will do.
cheaper to use a plugin timer, and heated on a plug-and-flex
