Door Curtain Rail

Door Curtain RailHello, just bought a caravan (first one) and I need to put up a curtain rail door, can you drill into the wall?

is a mobile home would you need to use ankles or just screw it up

Yes, you will drill well, I suggest you use the plugs plasterboard although they held in the cavity.

I used these for this purpose in many caravans, no problem

it would be better to buy because the plugs drilling in the wall could lead to leaks, etc. .. that wouldnt be good lol x

God thank you, it's not a caravan. As long as there is no son near fine then you'll be drilling screw

I could be wrong (will not be the first case), but the caravan, I'm assuming that your sense of a car is a van, and want to "convert" it into a van conversion?

Why not just a rod spring "loaded"?
This way, you do not "drill" and caused damage, so you can save for glue or adhesive tape on the wood, to ensure that it wont "drag" in case someone pulls too hard on the curtain.

I wish you good luck ...

Jesse

boreholes would not be a good idea, in my opinion, try growing a pole, or velcro, less chance of unsightly damage, caravans are usually constructed from lightweight materials meet, and does that strengthen where necessary.

Depends on where you drill. Around the corner or middle of a wall.
You can do it, just be aware that this is a light rail curtain door curtain with a lighter than what is used at home.
Make the two types of plugs. That's what they use when they build units and add accessories to it.

do you recommend to screw anything as possible, damage to the nth used inside pad sticky hooks Wilkinsons as I have a caravan for

Experience does drilll, if you do not have the right DRIL and plugs it will all be on the floor. Just get the plastic hooks, the kind with the sticky pad and put some glue on the block with super sticky and stick to the wall, which is much easier and quicker than drilling. No glue spray Nails and the tape is also ideal for lots of caravan fixing jobs!

use small self-tappers, you'll be fine, remained stable for years in Tenby
