New Bathtub

New BathtubWhat is a typical average cost for installing a new bathtub?

I currently have a stand-up shower which begins to corrode and leak. I am an entrepreneur with a look at it, but he seems to think that installing a new bathtub would be the best bet. On average, how much it cost?

It depends on what type of bathtub you want. You are able to get a bath room that comes with the wall and everything, it is made of fiberglass good, not as durable. (Cost around $ 309.00) You are able to get a bath alone, which may be steel (not recommended because there is rust on the cost $ 99.00) Cast (very strong and retains more heat for baths cost $ 399.00) depending on what you want and how to install your spa. If you want to tile yourself you can look for affordable tiles in a physical place. I suggest looking contracters, see what they think or install it yourself, it would be a fun project to do.

Well, let's just say that the contractor did a lot more money if you speak in much more work. I recommend you talk to several contractors more and do not mention the idea tub unless they put it first.

A lot.

It depends where you live and how many hours are involved. From standup to a bath, there will be a lot of carpentry involved. I am retired from the construction industry and I do remodeling of our community. I do it because I spent most of my years of work on the construction and it is difficult to get away. I support people based on what they can afford. I donate my time on projects too. I was an iron worker, but it is a building trade.

This is not a simple job and it will not be cheap, you're probably looking at a major remodeling. Talk to several different contractors first, ask friends and relatives and make sure you get a reputable contractor that guarantees its work .... However, as a plumber 30 years in the business I can tell you that it is generally cheaper (not cheap but cheaper) to replace a shower pan or shower than to replace a bath .... get more opinions before letting this guy do the work

$ 1,000.00

're looking at 1200 and up
