Potty Training Toilet Seat

Potty Training Toilet SeatDo you use a small pot or an insert for an adult toilet when potty training a baby?

We started potty training our daughter 16 months. It has all the "signs ready" We have discussed this with her pediatrician and she said go ahead. I say that for anyone to resist mentioning that she is too young. She has urinated in the toilet adults 5 times in 2 days. She is very intelligent and was very pround of herself. I would also like to emphasize that we are very gentle with this issue. We're not pushing it into something. She is very happy to sit on the toilet and urinate. I wonder about the advantages and disadvantages of using a seat relative to the cleanliness of the toilet insert for adults. Some advice would be helpful pot. Also, has anyone let their toddlers run naked for training purposes? How is this going? Has anyone put the pot head anywhere other than the bathroom for easy access? Please do respond to love!

When I worked at the daycare, we had seats pot, even if they had a low "on the ground" toilets. It's quite frightening for them because it is above, and almost as big as they are. And with a little pot, they can be a little more independent.
I do not recommend to put elsewhere in the bathroom, which can reproduce a nasty habit exhibitionist, though unlikely, I feel better safe than sorry.
I heard that using cloth diapers that work well for pottytraining. They are not half absorbent than regular layers, and they find themselves uncomfortable when they land. This would also save money.
Once it is in practice, take her shopping. Let her choose whatever underwear she likes. Help them understand that if it does not go to pot as a big girl, she will have her pretty underwear all new dirty and disgusting. It's a good motivation.
And congratulations to you on pottytraining early! It is very possible to do if your child is ready. It's just a lot of work, which is why I think many parents put off until their children are much older. I plan on getting my daughter pottychair when she moves around so she can become familiar with it. I hope it will be from there! (Sooner rather than later, LOL)

Yeah we insert a small toilet seat cushions so that the toddler does not fall.

I think the best small pot, not as scary and easier access. Also another board, I think the use of padded underwear (cloth) is better than pull-ups. Pull-ups are only layers that you can withdraw up. (Although they are ideal for travel and other). Children do not know when they are wet and it takes longer to train them. Hope this helps - Good luck!

I say that if you are at home with her and can not devote all your time with it then with the inclusion on the big potty, but more likely if she is at daycare or they will place the type have children potty small businesses, so that may be an easier way to do. I guess if it will do so systematically and it is not really important.

Unfortunately, as the mother of two who are 11 and 6, I do not remember well, my daughter used both and I think my son has done. I suppose if she is not afraid of the big pot, so stick with it. which will make the transition smoother, but if she's afraid of the pot, so start small, then move to the big.

I put a potty in the living room so that she can watch TV and get used to sitting on the pot. Once it started to go, I have an insert for the cleanliness of adults. The only problem I had was that it was too short to get up on it by its own means. So we had a friend give him a stool with his name on it and we made a huge deal on his stool pot.

I let her run with big girl panties on all day. (Be prepared for some errors), she has been trained by two pot and a half. Now, my youn.
