Is 5mm OK for a Jacuzzi shower / bath?

I saw a shower Jacuzzi / bath sale on Ebay, what I consider a good price, but the bath, it is only 5 mm thick acrylic. Would it be allowed or should I forget it and try something a little thicker and / or a different material?
