Shower Glass

Shower GlassWhat can we use to clean the shower glass?

We have clear shower doors class (not textured). Anyway, we have well water, so we have hard water on glass, we live in Florida so there are lots of limestone. Anyway, we LimeAway but we are afraid that will ruin the marble in the shower, is there any other products we could use home remedies that are not harmful?

hard water stains are a nightmare. I always use Sof Scrub to clean the glass doors (it scratches), then I rinse him very well and use a squeegie to remove all excess water. If you do on a regular basis, you will see an improvement, although the hard water stains are difficult to remove. It is also a product called Kaboom, which really works and I use that from time to time. I'll spray the whole glass with a solution of white vinegar and water and is supposed to help, but I'm not sure he does too much. You must be careful with the marble, so be sure to read instructions on what you can use on marble and it is not good for her.

Regarding the shower doors go, you need to be religious on the drying of water spots off each time you use your shower. The squeegie is absolutely necessary, otherwise you'll continue to get more and this will be a major problem.

(I do housework and have seen how bad shower doors get when they are not supported properly. You can not go two weeks and expect to get the perfect housekeeper, is a job continued to hold them. I clean my shower doors every day and they look pretty good despite the fact that we have hard water. It takes time and effort but it pays off. The doors are going very well without major water stains.

When I make my bathroom more, I'm getting a shower without a door, the lights just heat. I saw them on TV and fell in love. All dishes are Italian marble with a lip. The shower area was deep and had two large shower heads. The water did not even go near the door and heat lamps kept the room warm. (Someone who had a hard water and the glass doors of course came with the idea of ending the doors! Brilliant!)

Vinegar would prolly work fine if you do not want to use a stronger acid.

I agree, vinegar and water, so use a carpet brush

Plain vinegar and water, an old piece of cloth with the mixture as evenly as possible
If this does not use baking soda and liquid soap

You must use a careful CLR dullsville
and wash with water.

I would say you use white vinegar directly. If the constitution is quite large, heat the vinegar first and use a "safe" nylon scouring pad. Spray or wipe on and let them soak for 5 minutes. Then add a few new things on a small place and work with the pad.

I also heard that if you put baking soda on your pad that helps too!

Good luck

Mr. Clean Magic Erasers work great on tile and shower doors.

Yeah, a magic eraser that makes a difference, but the easiest is to keep your shower spotless by running quickly squeegee over each time you use it.

I have something every two weeks or when I take a shower, I just used good old fashioned soap on a damp flannel old and I gross and soap, rub the surface and rinse off (with apple shower of course) with hot water and repeat if necessary, so I do not use chemicals, just a hotkey water.

PS. This only works for the interior, or you have the floor all wet LOL, here in France we use Calc (anti limestone) but you can an equivalent or lemon, baking soda, vinegar, too. Personally, I think the elbow grease good plain old soap and a bit of "do more jobs.

What you do to keep the marble wet with water while you clean the glass.

Once you clean it, spray once a day.
