Sliding Shower Door Hardware Perhaps the shower door refurbished equipment? I bought the new oil rubbed bronze fixtures in my bathroom. The problem is that the shower / tub enclosure doors are ugly, shiny brass hardware (sliding door track, frame, grips, etc..) I swear I once saw a show where home improvement they just painted the equipment (spray paint) to update the look. However, when I ask the home improvement places, they tell me it does not work. I prefer to invest $ 20 in paint and apply a little elbow grease rather than spend $ 250 on a new door. What might work? I sprayed plastic, wood and metal finishes to match that I had. There is a slogan that goes there, "If it does not move, paint it!" Of course, you can paint the material! Make sure you buy a can of spray that goes on the metal mask other parts of the door, and spraying. Even if it only lasts a year, low prices! Just respray. I have never heard such a thing. I would not recommend it. Unfortunately, you'll have to buy a new door, if you want the metal ends to match. The cost of the path to your existing door, frame, etc. .., abducted in a plating company (the only way to the finish line would never stick, paint absolutely no work) would be a new door. there is no option in the range of $ 20, other than completely removing the door and get a rod / curtain to replace them (if you have tub / shower - its a separate shower, it is not an option) and will be $ 20 more from a decent and curtain coating to cost more than that, let alone a new oil rubbed bronze finish rod and curtain clips.
