You can never go wrong with silk curtains, but that all depends on what the color of the room and type of room the curtains are going in, if you want to calm down / relax go with silk. If the curtain goes around children, I suggest cotton. If you want cutrains striped canvas, they are versatile when it comes to mood and what room they can go in. I think they look great in the rooms.
