Toilet Valve

Toilet ValveJust replaced valve toilet, pipes are now a lot of noise?

I have to install a new Fluidmaster valve on my toilet, but now whenever I turn on the water as more than a slow moving, my pipes start to vibrate and create a lot of noise. Advice?

Sounds like air in the pipes.

If it were a hammer, as indicated by the first poster, it would occur when you turn the water on at once ... and if you did, it would probably hit by a connection.

Good luck!

It's a hammer and is very common with fluidmasters. Maybe install a water hammer arrester or expansion tank. Make sure the water pressure to supply good hack too. water pressure too low can cause this too. Good luck! I hope this helps.

Im not an expert infact im only 15, but normally the cause of the air in the system? Maybe you could bleed the pipes. Im not sure if I helped the hope

Would-be plumber
20 + has the right idea. You can find small, reversible, easy to install water hammer (SP) at Lowe's and such places. They are near the copper fittings and appear to be copper tube about six inches long and terminates in a plug o one end and a tee on the other. The "T" fittings to adjust the middle of a line exposed. (Like under the sink, put it on the line cold)
