Used Toilets

Used ToiletsWhen astronauts return to Earth, it difficult for them to get used to using toilet again, instead of diapers?

I guess after half a year of diapers, and "letting go" whenever you feel the need, it would be strange to be out of diapers. Astronauts returning to earth must be "potty" again, I mean they are so used to letting go, they have accidents when they return to the first days / weeks?

They only use diapers during the space walks. They use specialized toilet in the shuttle or space station they're flying in.

Who told you about the land they have used layers?

Muscles tighter body and ejecting feces. They use a vacuum.

So no, they do not need retraining.

Do they use diapers? I thought they were related to something like catheter and a tube that expelled the stuff. Well, no doubt the technology has come back to earth!

If I had to wear diapers I still think twice before "letting go". Can not be comfortable with the smoking remains of a lamb vindaloo glued to your back for hours.

The hardest thing to get used to stand and walk again with gravity.

They have a special space toilet that works essentially like a vacuum cleaner, and they only resort to diapers when in a space suit outside on a space walk for 8 hours. But most of them are trained to keep it as long and they usually do not go into the layer.
