Guide bathroom plumbing? Toilets and bidets WC
The pan under a vitreous china toilet, the tank (today almost always a type of low-level) may be made of porcelain or plastic. The emptying of the tank can be vertically downwards - an S-trap - or nearly horizontal P-trap. Some toilets have taken a short horizontal connector to which a ceramic or plastic can be added to convert the output into a trap or trap-MS - angle if necessary. Standards ¬ standard height of the pan is 405mm, but other heights are available.
Washdown pan with the standard tank
The most common type of the contents of the pan are simply washed down the drain by the force of the water tank. Cheap but noisy opera ¬ tion. Tanks usually come with ballvalve - often a kind of high pressure. For storage tanks fed by a tank of cold water, a low pressure is needed ballvalve. Entries and overflows are positioned on the sides and can be inter ¬ changed. The flush lever is usually mounted on the front.
Siphonic coupled pan with cistern
The contents of the pot are sucked into the trap siphon action. Silent in operation as the type washdown and the tray is also less likely to be contaminated. Two types - one trap and double trap, double trap is more efficient and com ¬ my, but some get blocked more easily, both types cost more than the type of washing with water. A matching tank is connected directly to the pan - cleaner than the standard type. Some stoves are designed for washing use with cyst coupled ¬ Erns too. The tank has its own entrance and mounted under the overflow, which gives a cleaner aesthetic appearance.
Wall WC
Ground clearance clear, but does not necessarily some flexibility in mounting height. The tank is usually hidden behind a false wall.
Toilet tank with close
Useful when con ¬ verting an old high-level tank to a type of low, or when space is limited to the toilet.
Dual flush cistern
You can empty the pan using either half or all of the water. save water when you use the toilet, a urinal (half flush).
Bidets
The main purpose of a bidet is to wash ¬ ing the bottom and genitals. It is used by sitting astride her - or is turned off the faucet, if it is more comfortable. It can also be used as a footbath as a pool for small children, or for wet clothes.
Over the rim of the offer
Water is supplied to the bowl of the bidet faucets, exactly the same way as a sink. This type is easier to plumb, but the rim may feel cold sitting on it.
Thanks to the rim of the offer
special valves are needed and the hot water flows around the rim before filling the bowl, to warm. This type often has a spray mounted on the bottom of the tank, which is used for vaginal douches. Both the bidet faucets are more expensive than the type on a rim, and the plumbing must be respected special.
Wall bidet
As for toilet bowl, keep the floor clear, but does not necessarily allow for flexibility in mounting height.
