Wall To Wall Bathroom Carpet

Wall To Wall Bathroom CarpetIs carpet good for the bathroom, o by the way I have four son.?

Most carpet in the bathroom is a hot on the feet.
The negative is that you do not need that. You'll replace it often. A bathroom is where some of the things you often a mess on the floor. You want a floor that is easy to clean and disinfect easily. Carpets not. It also retains moisture leading to mold and other things growing in it. The rug is beautiful but not the bathroom.

I would suggest. Try to get a Nice tile in place and a small rug to go in front of the sink.

carpets wall-to-wall in a bathroom is a bad idea: It would be wet and moldy in a short time in the best circumstances. You would be better to use a floor tile and carpet floor just where you need it.

Why u put carpet in a bathroom ???????? this is the place where accidents have to leave early to be ready for u spil "can not clean and not leave the carpet mat absorb Maby

When I read this all I could think was "Are you kidding me??" Only get a wall if you want it to turn into a rag pee in two days with his four son. Sorry, but .....

Certainly too. Boys tend to "shake up" the last drop of ... This means that your carpet becomes a sponge and sooner or later, you will not be able to get rid of urine odor without removing the carpet, mat and sometimes even the wooden floor ... And consider this: the first time the toilet is blocked and overflowing, your carpet will suck everything up ... theory even if the tub overflows. It is never a good idea to put carpeting in a bathroom .... You'd better put in ceramic tile or porcelain and using carpets (which are much easier to wash if the boys squeeze on them ...:)

You're kidding right? You can not put carpet in a bathroom ..... is a terrible idea. cannot purpose of children and the carpet will also trap moisture from the shower. It will be stinky moldy spots or could, if you can not afford to tile, then go with a vinyl or laminate

No way I install carpeting in a bathroom, especially with four guys. Too many reasons health and cleanliness.

I would recommend a system of tiles with underfloor heating. You can have carpets where you need it and have the facility of being able to put them in the washer if necessary. Good luck with your renovations.

I must say, I agree with all the other answers. I do not like the period of carpet in any room, but especially not in the bathroom.

Yes, her too.
Men and boys are (in normal circumstances) extremely unpleasant if not serious. The bathroom in particular, I could never put carpet you can not throw in the washing machine unless you plan to change the carpet in a bathroom or two each year. The smell of urine can be too.

Eww. The boys can not aim and your carpet is urine odor. Moreover, if the flooding toilet, you need to pull up and replace.

If there is a bedroom / bath below and the floor is not concrete cement mortar, but of wood / timber, preferable to have a wall covering easy to clean carpets with four son around. If the bathroom is made of concrete or cement there is no room or basement below, it is better to go just right tiles.

The first time the toilet overflows you will be sorry you put in the wall wall carpeting. Bathrooms are a bad place for carpet anyway, they absorb moisture and it is, it can be a haven for mold and wet carpets over time can damage your floor. You'd be better off investing in tiles and use carpet bathrooms or perhaps a small area rugs based on the size of the bathroom.
