Wc Seats

Wc SeatsHow do I change a toilet seat?

Hello, I have a ROCA DAMA toilet. I need to tighten the seat but I see no way to access attachments. Anyone have any idea how to do this?
Thank you

I'm not familiar with the name you mentioned, but these things are pretty standard with the new types having a screw head at the top covered by a plastic connector. The bottom pieces are normally so wingnuts get their hands on a kite with a key lock and tighten the top with a screwdriver.

Some seats have covers over bindings, try prizing or sliding the fixing should be.

Here's your answer:

Wow ... I'm in the U.S. and the terminology is a bit strange. But plumbing and em, uh, body parts are the same auxiliary so here goes ...
Take a hacksaw blade and insert it between the porcelain and plastic cap. Do not bother trying to UN-vis ... they do not come off easily. Usuallythe bolts are plastic and are easy to cut. Brass is a bit more difficult but perseverance is rewarded. Once the new headquarters is happening so farily obvious and bolts are tight on top. The new seats have large nuts often drop below that manage to jam against the toilet and cut to remain in place as you tighten. Then, simply press the snap cover in place on the bolt heads. Good luck! (Or, Cheerio or whatever you people say!)
